Nigerian singer and songwriter, Burna Boy, is undoubtedly one of the richest musicians in the music industry, he rose to prominence in 2012 after he releasing, ‘Like to party’, the lead from his debut studio album L.I.F.E.
He won Best International Act at the 2019 BET Awards and was announced as an Apple Music Up Next artist. His fourth studio album African Giant was released in July 2019, and it won the All Africa Music Awards and was nominated for the 62nd Anual Grammy Awards.
Recently, his Twice As Tall, has been nominated in the Best Global Music Album Category at the 63rd Grammy Awards for the second time in a row. He lost to Kidjo last year when the category was known as Best World Music Album.
If Burna Boy wins, he will become Nigeria’s first Grammy winner since Sikiru Adepoju won with planet Drum over 10 years ago.
